Sharp debris and falling loads
Assess sole puncture resistance for nails, wire and reinforcement offcuts, and toe protection for falling materials. Removing sharp debris from the site remains a fundamental precaution.
Concrete and water contact
Select task-appropriate equipment that will prevent wet cement from entering the shoe. A water-resistant upper alone should not be considered sufficient for constant water or cement contact.
Fit and fastening
A secure fit and fastening system help keep the foot in place on uneven ground. Try boots with work socks and check heel movement and toe room.
